The characters are so-called unruly teens (aged 14-17) who are abruptly extracted from their surroundings and shipped away to an undisclosed location by their loved ones or by an indifferent case worker, to serve time at a juvenile correctional facility for teenagers.
Life for the characters goes from bad to worse as the reality and horrors of the boot camp hits them. The path from student to patient to victim is fleeting. Foresight Haven Medical Corp isn’t being very forthright about what they really are doing and the secluded island has a frightful history of its own.
This game is set in America in the 90’s. The mood is likened to teen horror movies from the 70s, 80s and 90’s. The scenario is heavily prompted by the horrifying stories of the real-life survivors of juvenile correctional facilities/ boot camps that existed – and still exist in some places – with a sprinkle of Cthulhu Mythos.
