Hexcon is a game convention held annually in Trondheim, Norway, in the end of October or beginning of November. It is organized by the game club Hexagon.

The convention covers board games, roleplaying games and miniature wargames. Playing in English is usually no problem, so even if you don’t speak Norwegian that’s no reason not to show up.

Most of these pages are in Norwegian, but the game titles in the programme will mostly be recognizable for English speakers.

Practical info

Hexcon 2020 is cancelled due to the pandemic. All registration fees will be refunded.

Hexcon 2020 is from Friday October 30th to Sunday November 1st at Rosenborg Skole in Trondheim (indicated on the map above). Registration opens at 16:00 on Friday, and the programme starts at 17:30. See the programme for details.

The COVID-19 Pandemic

Hexcon will, of course, follow all requirements from the Norwegian Institute of Public Health. Among other things, this means that we might need to cancel the convention. If that happens, we will refund all registration fees (but not other costs like hotel or travel).

If you prepay, but decide not to come (for any reason) we will also refund your registration fee. (You’ll need to inform us that you want a refund.)

More details about how we will handle the pandemic will be added.

Prices and registration

  • 250 NOK for the whole weekend
  • 150 NOK for one day
