Hexcon is a game convention held annually in Trondheim, Norway, in the end of October or beginning of November. It is organized by the game club Hexagon.

The convention covers board games, roleplaying games and miniature wargames. Playing in English is usually no problem, so even if you don’t speak Norwegian that’s no reason not to show up.

Most of these pages are in Norwegian, but the game titles in the programme will mostly be recognizable for English speakers.

Practical info

Hexcon 2021 will be from Friday 5th to Sunday 7th November, at Rosenborg Skole in Trondheim (indicated on the map above). See the programme for details.

The COVID-19 Pandemic

Hexcon will, of course, follow all requirements from the Norwegian Institute of Public Health. Among other things, this means that we might need to cancel the convention. If that happens, we will refund all registration fees (but not other costs like hotel or travel).

If you prepay, but decide not to come (for any reason) we will also refund your registration fee. (You’ll need to inform us that you want a refund.)

More information about our handling of the pandemic is described in Norwegian here. You can try an automated translation of the page. If you want more information, please contact us.

Prices and registration

You register for the convention and pay at www.deltager.no/event/hexcon_2021.

Full price is 450 NOK for the whole convention, 250 NOK for one day. You can choose to pay a reduced price if you prefer (250 for the whole convention, 150 for one day). The price is reduced by 50 NOK if you have paid membership to Hexagon this year. The price will increase a bit on 5th November.

In addition, you can register for individual games on this website. To do that, log in/create a user, navigate to the descriptions of the games you want to play, and click the “Send påmelding” (“Send registration”) button. The link “Mine påmeldinger” (“My registrations”) in the right column show which games you have registered for.
