Hexcon is Norway's oldest game festival, and has been held every year since 1984 (except 2020, due to the COVID pandemic). The festival is held one weekend late autumn, Friday to Sunday, and gathers game enthusiasts from Trondheim, Trøndelag, and further afield. We host board games, role playing games, miniature games, card games, puzzles, and LARPs. The weekend is an excellent opportunity to enjoy your fantastical hobbies and spend time with other like-minded individuals. The festival is appropriate for beginners and seasoned veterans.
The festival is hosted by the game club Hexagon, and is non-commercial and organized by volounteers. Any budgetary surplus or deficit goes to Hexagon game club. Together with Arcon in Oslo and Regncon in Bergen , Hexcon is one of the most important gatherings for game enthusiasts in Norway.
