Inis

Inis takes place iduring the height of the ancient Celts when history and legend are one and the same. Players are chieftans leading their Clans beyond the seas from Ireland toba newly discovered island. They settle the land, explore the surrounding area, harvest resources from the mines, and construct Citadels and Sanctuaries for their protection. Bards recount the tales of their gods and heroes, druids act as advisors, and master craftsmen immortalize Celtic civilization.

 

Each chieftan believes they have the most legimitate claim to the throne of this new island. Only time will tell who among them will ascend to become Ard-Ri, the High King of this new realm!

Inis utspiller seg i de gamle kelternes storhetstid, en tid da historie og sagn smelter sammen til ett. Spillerne inntar rollen som høvdinger som leder klanene sine over havet, fra Irland til en nyoppdaget øy. De bosetter seg, utforsker omgivelsene, utvinner ressurser fra gruver og reiser festninger og helligdommer for å beskytte seg. Skalder forteller historier om guder og helter, druider fungerer som rådgivere, og mesterhåndverkere foreviger den keltiske sivilisasjonen. Hver høvding mener å ha det mest rettmessige kravet på tronen til denne nye øya. Bare tiden vil vise hvem av dem som skal bestige tronen og bli Ard-Ri – overkongen av dette nye riket!
